Some thoughts after the first zoom session
So, I have just been catching up with the video's on the hub page and thought I'd write my first blog. The things that sprung to mind when listening to the video and what influences is Meisner and my teacher while I was training. Its all about reaction and going off impulse and not holding back. My teacher use to call it "f*** polite". I still am very polite, however I am more impulsive now in my day to day responses, whether that be with work or just reacting to friends and family which I feel has impacted me massively. The other thing I thought about was how you can have something genetically that can help with influences. My mum was adopted when she was a baby, but in the last 3/4 years we managed to track down her real family which is from Ireland and America. When meeting them for the first time, we found out that they are all very musical and into their theatre, and I have a second cousin from Michigan who has trained in musical theatre also and has a...
